Daley Mathison killed in TT Superbike crash

Daley Mathison, of Stockton-on-Tees was killed today after an incident at Snugborough on lap 3 of todays Superbike race.

Mrs Mathison wrote "Not something I ever wanted to write but here we go.. Daley, as Daisy says, is now sleeping with the fairies. That’s all I can bring myself to say right now. The last image I saw of my husband, was of a man so happy with life and so proud of his racing.”.

The Penz13.com rider was a regular at the North West 200 and a former Ulster Grand Prix winner, having claimed victory in the 2014 Ultra-lightweight race.

We at RoadRacingHub send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Daley Mathison. He was a talented rider and will be a great loss to the sport.
