Description

Joeys' Gate is the right hand kink just before Ballabeg Hairpin. It was named Joey's Gate as the world renowned Joey Dunlop (26 time TT winner) famously overshot the corner and rode through the open gate leading into a farmers field. Joeys' Gate can be a dangerous corner for newcomers, since the wall on the right hand side is very easy to clip, and without proper experience round the circuit and with all the exhilaration of the race, it's easy to forget it's there..
